What can you expect during my first session?
The first session, often called the intake session, is all about gathering information. We will spend about the hour discussing everything from your current living situation, eating/sleep habits, medication history, and current problems. We like to get a very clear picture of what your life looks like so we can work on creating goals that fit your needs.
You may not feel 100% safe to tell us all your deep dark secrets and that's okay; our priority is that you feel comfortable.

How long does therapy typically last?
Our sessions are typically 53-55min. We are happy to be flexible with scheduling, if needed, but we also offer standing appointments to those who can commit to a regular day and time. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly session schedules.
We see some clients for a few months and some for a few years depending upon the treatment goals.
